How far are the houses from the beach?
It's quite a 10 minute walk by the "mule path" to the sea ,a bit more to come back from the sea.
Should I rent or bring a car or a scooter or it's better to walk?
If you are in good shape you can easily tour the whole island walking, otherwise you can rent scooters on the island. If you are gonna stay more than 10 days you are authorized to bring a car.
Are there food shops on the island?
